Brikena Avdyli is an Adjunct Professor at RIT Kosovo, teaching Global Forces and Trends. She holds a master’s degree in International Development from American University in Washington D.C. and a Professionals Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in NYC, U.S. Currently, Ms. Avdyli is doing her second master’s in Social Innovation and Management at the WU Executive Academy in Vienna.
Brikena’s main areas of interest are gender equality and social inclusion. She is a consultant for numerous local and international organizations. Previously, Brikena served as the Executive Director of the Jahjaga Foundation, led the portfolio of inclusion and outreach in electoral processes at the International Foundation for Electoral Processes, and worked with other different organizations in project related to human rights, development, gender equality, social inclusion, and youth development.
She is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion of marginalized groups in society and public life. Her impact in electoral and political processes has been tremendous as she supported software promoting including of the people with disabilities in elections.
