Youth from Peja seek support for practical work

13.07.2017

Lack of libraries and psychologists in schools, closure of the Bazaar, lack of vocational training and vocational schools, lack of local transport for students from villages, environmental problems, lack of support from volunteering and practical work, problems with healthcare, respectively systematic medical check-ups are some of the problems that youth from Peja face, which were highlighted during the youth policy workshop, organized by #KDI.

Young people who participated in this workshop provided alternatives for efficient and innovative solutions to these problems. These alternatives will be presented to the potential candidates for Mayor of Peja, for the upcoming elections to be held on October 22 of this year.

These workshops are a continuation of accountability workshops and are activities in the framework of the project “Empowering young voters to make informed decisions and helping them to keep accountable politicians” supported by British Embassy, Pristina .
