The problem of city railway, lack of investment in vocational schools, inclusion of innovation, lack of public lighting, non-functionalization of cultural and youth facilities such as theaters, cinemas or youth centers, lack of socially owned enterprises for waste collection and recycling are several of the problems that young people from the Municipality of Ferizaj have identified during the two-day workshop in Ferizaj.
Young people who participated in this workshop provided alternatives for efficient and innovative solutions to these problems. These alternatives will be presented to candidates for Mayor of Ferizaj, during local elections expected to be held on October 22 this year.
These workshops are a continuation of accountability workshops and are being developed in the framework of the project “Empowering young voters to make decisions by being informed and helping them to keep accountable politicians” supported by British Embassy, Pristina .
