06.07.2017

Poor quality in education, lack of hygiene in primary and secondary schools, lack of extra activities in school combined with practical work, lack of local transport and infrastructural problems are some of the major concerns that Mitrovica's youth have prioritized during the two-day workshop for youth policies organized by KDI.

About 25 young people have provided concrete recommendations and solutions on how to address these problems that they face daily in their municipality and is expected to be presented to potential candidates for the upcoming municipal elections.

So far Youth Policy Workshops have been organized in # Prishtina, #Gjilan and #Prizren and will be organized in other municipalities.

These workshops are coming as a continuation of accountability workshops and are activities within the project “Empowering young voters to make informed decisions and helping them to keep politicians accountable” supported by the British Embassy in Pristina .
