KDI along with 11 partner organizations today have completed the second cycle of public discussions between citizens and MPs, which were held in 11 municipalities of Kosovo. The last public discussion, the eleventh one, was held today in Klina, which was attended by MPs: Shkëmb Manaj (LDK) and Ilir Ferati (LDK).

Residents of this municipality also addressed a number of other issues such as lack of drinking water throughout the municipality of Klina and the need for a concrete plan from the line ministry for water treatment in Dukagjini region, to increase of municipal capital investment budget, development of agriculture and the need to establish a collection point for agricultural products in this region, lack of quality control of food by inspectors as a result of the small number of inspectors and other challenges that citizens face on a daily basis.
KDI, all recommendations from these discussions between citizen and deputies, shall publish to the special module “Citizens Initiatives”, which is part of the www.votaime.org platform, which will measure the progress on addressing these issues by deputies in the Parliament.
