On Monday, 3 September 2018, amendments on Rules and operative instructions of public procurement A01 (Article 22, paragraph f), will be enforced. These changes will oblige Contracting Authorities to publish contracts in electronic procurement platform, e-procurement.
In April 2018, KDI published an analysis called ‘’Unfulfilled promises’’ where it recommended, among other things, opening public contracts for citizens and initiation of legal amendments that regulate this issue.
Opening Contracts for the public is a crucially important step when it comes to increasing transparency on public money expenses through public procurement.
KDI encourages institutions to continue investments and advance accountability and transparency on public procurement.
