Several days after the publication of Corruption Perception Index from Transparency International, KDI as a representative of TI for Kosovo, presented the results of this index in front of the members of Parliamentary Committee on Mandates, Immunities, Rules of Procedure and supervision of the Anti-Corruption Agency, noting the findings for Kosovo. Artan Canhasi from KDI said that despite the progress marked in this index, Kosovo remains most corrupt country on region. The key problem remains the lack of transparency in the financing of political parties, high levels of nepotism and corruption in health care and judiciary.
Kosovo for 2016 is rated with 36 points and now is ranked as 95th of 176 countries worldwide. In 2015 Kosovo was ranked 103rd with 33 points.
