Promoting Green Community Activism in Kosovo

As a developing country aspiring economic growth, political stability and EU integration, Kosovo will have to tackle important economic, social, rule of law and environmental protection reforms through a transparent, accountable and participatory process.

KDI through this project will promote green governance and will help in the development and support of the community and 12 NGOs, to influence the accountability of local authorities through involvement in the processes of policy making, monitoring and social audit to ensure the implementation of commitments, with a focus on green and environmental policies.

This project is supported by the United Nations Democracy Fund- UNDEF  for the period of 24 months July 2023 – June 2025.
