Kosovo Democratic Institute has signed today the agreement memoranda with Peja Municipality, for opening the data of public procurement of this municipality.
Thus Peja becoming the first Kosovo municipality that will publish the contractual documents and financial reports related to expenses through public procurement procedures.
This agreement was signed by the executive director of KDI, Ismet Kryeziu and the mayor of Peja municipality, Gazmend Muhaxheri.
According to this agreement, the municipality of Peja will publish the procurement plan, the monthly financial report on procurement expenses , contracts with average and high values and the report of procurement plans of a time period of 6 months that are related to the implementation of different contracts.
This agreement is signed on behalf of the project ‘’Accountable municipalities through transparent procurement’’ supported by KFOS, whose purpose is to advocate on issues such as accountability and transparency on public procurement, knowing that this process remains closed for the citizens.
