Advisory Group in its second meeting discussed assessment of research findings on measurement of institutional integrity. A total of seven pillars were part of the assessment, including judiciary, prosecution, anti-corruption agency, legislative branch, ombudsperson, general auditor office, and media. Findings were presented according to three indicators: (1) capacity & independence, (2) internal governance, including transparency, accountability, and integrity, and (3) role of respective institution in the fight against corruption. At the end, the contribution of all Council members enriched and made the study more specific, which is planned to be published in September. It needs to be restated that Council membership consists of 12 representatives representing justice system, public institutions, media, business, and civil society.
The study is being conducted simultaneously in several regional countries led by Transparency International secretariat and supported by the European Union.
