A training was held today with the citizens of Malisheva and Rahovec in order to prompt citizen participation in decision making and promote transparency and accountability of local institutions. It resulted with18 requests for access to public documents.

The participants expressed interest to find out from their municipalities the budget, the allocation of subsides from the offices of mayors, lunch and dinner expenses, fuel etc., which are planned to be submitted in the form of concrete requests for information in these two municipalities.

 

KDI will continue the cycle of training in other municipalities.
