KDI and Qeliza Network have organized today a discussion between the citizens of Gjakova and the deputies of the Assembly of Kosovo, Arbërie Nagavci and Mimoza Kusari-Lila, on the topic “Increasing Transparency and Accountability towards the Voters”, in the framework of the project “Increasing Participation, Transparency and Accountability in Kosovo” funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).

The purpose of this debate was to promote the dialogue between the deputies of the Gjakova region, representatives of civil society and citizens regarding the work of the Assembly of Kosovo in order to increase transparency, accountability and civic communication. This public debate was characterized by a large participation of citizens from Gjakova, and they discussed a lot of important issues for citizens of this municipality.

KDI and the implementing partners of the project will continue organizing similar debates, and the next one will be organized in Kaçanik by the end of January.
