KDI in cooperation with Civic Initiatives Skenderaj (IQS) organized a public meeting between the citizens of Skenderaj and MPs: Blerta Deliu – Kodra, Bekim Haxhiu, Ganimete Musliu and Mergim Lushtaku (PDK), which are representatives elected from this municipality in the Assembly of Kosovo.

Among the topics that were discussed during this meeting between citizens and MPs was the importance of accountability for which the citizens asked more attention from MPs in order to represent their interests. Then they discussed about civic activism and for specific laws with interest to them.

This meeting was held in the framework of the “Public Meetings” activities between MPs and citizens, which will be organized in 11 municipalities, within the project for monitoring the Assembly ” Enhancing Participation, Transparency and Accountability in Kosovo” funded by #UNDEF . The next meeting will take place in  Gjakova.
