KDI expresses concern regarding the public statement of the Member of Parliament Haxhi Shala in today’s session for the change of his position for the voting of the Government ‘Hoti’.

MP Haxhi Shala stated that “after last night’s visit to my family of the President and former Prime Minister Haradinaj, I have changed my mind and my vote will be in favor of these two people and in favor of the Hoti Government”.

KDI recalls that the Constitution of Republic of Kosovo (Article 70, point 1) regarding the mandate of the deputies says that “the deputies of the Assembly are representatives of the people and are not bound by any obligatory mandate”.
