Considering that there are no medical checkups in schools, distan transport from villages to the city, lack of volunteerism and practical work, lack of youth activities, poor infrastructure for people with disabilities, no functional libraries, and the poor quality of vocational schools are some of the major concerns they youth from Gjilan have identified during the Youth Policy Workshop that KDI held in this municipality.

Around 30 young people for two days in a row debated policy-making, identified solutions to these problems and challenges they face at the local level by drafting concrete recommendations that will be presented by them to the potential candidates for the upcoming municipal elections.
