Today’s session of the Kosovo Assembly was accompanied by unacceptable scenes of violence. The Assembly, whose parliamentary activity has been crammed with insults and resentment, without substantive debates, culminated today in repellent scenes of physical confrontations. Images alike these are the result of an unparliamentary climate, to which all parliamentary political actors, without distinction, ought to not contribute.

We appeal upon all political parties and deputies of the Kosovo Assembly to distance themselves from this climate of violence that produced unacceptable scenes within the Assembly. Violence, never time, in the face of no possible situation, can be a political mean and in no context can it considered as justifiable.

Furthermore, we demand the law enforcement bodies, to undertake all measures defined by law in case of deputies involved in violence.
