KDI organizes a workshop on integrity in the public sector

KDI organized a two day workshop on integrity of the public institutions in Kosovo, where they discussed the challenges and necessary reforms that will lead towards improving integrity in the public sector. The main burden was put on justice system which should be more effective in the fight against corruption in order to create an environment that promotes the value of integrity.

Part of this discussion were representatives of institutions and non-governmental sector including: Mayor of the Municipality of Gjakova, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, the representative of the Office for Good Governance, Habit Hajredini, representative from the Anti-Corruption Agency, Milot Shala and the researcher from the Kosovo Center for Security Studies, Plator Avdiu.

 

KDI will conduct an extensive evaluation of the integrity of the justice system and provide professional support to Judicial and Prosecutorial Council in creating plans of integrity in the judiciary and prosecution.
