KDI has launched today the Web Platform, offering for the first time online courses related to the work of the Kosovo Assembly.

25 students were part of the first course on “Institution Building and Division of Powers in the Republic of Kosovo”, lectured by Artan Murati from KDI.

In this interactive session, the fundamental issues of functioning of the basic institutions in the country were addressed: the Assembly, the Government and the Presidency. During the lecture there were discussions about the constitutional procedures of the Assembly, the voting of the Government and the functioning of the Presidency.

Moreover, special emphasis was placed on the principle of democratic control among the institutions and the mechanisms available within institutions to exercise effective control over each other. During the lecture, data and material related to the topic were also presented.

KDI will also develop other online courses related to the work of the Assembly.
