Ahead of International Anti-Corruption Day and across the week of commemorative events,  five chapters of Transparency International in the Western Balkans and Türkiye region: Kosova Democratic Institute / Transparency International Kosova, Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina, Transparency International North Macedonia, Transparentnost Srbija and Transparency International Türkiye, officially launched the Integrity Watch (IW) digital platforms, marking an important milestone in advancing transparency, integrity, and accountability in public institutions across the region.

The Integrity Watch platforms provide citizens, media, civil society organizations, academia and institutions an easy access to public data and information related to integrity in public office. The platforms expose corruption risks and integrity-related indicators in the area of asset declarations, public procurement and political financing.

The Integrity Watch platforms transform institutional data into user-friendly visualizations, enabling evidence-based analysis, supporting investigative journalism, and strengthening public oversight of decision-making processes. By improving data accessibility and usability, the platforms contribute to more informed public debate and enhanced institutional accountability.

A key feature of this regional initiative is the use of a shared conceptual approach and platform structure, while each Integrity Watch platform reflects nationally available data and country-specific legal and institutional contexts. Collectively, the platforms contribute to a broader regional understanding of integrity challenges.

The Integrity Watch platforms have been developed in in line with the principles of open governance, open data, open contracting and public accountability.

This regional launch reaffirms the long-term commitment of Transparency International and its Chapters to strengthening democratic governance, combating corruption, and supporting institutions that serve the public interest.
