Kosova Democratic Institute (KDI) presents a catalogue of issues for the Municipality of Malisheva, which includes problems faced by citizens and prioritizes some of the essential issues that need to be included in the budget planning of municipalities for 2020.
As a result of field research, problems in road infrastructure, sewerage network, drinking water supply, public transport, condition of schools, waste management, public kindergartens and health services have been identified in this municipality.
According to the survey, the issue of sewage appears to be aggravated in almost most of the villages and neighbourhoods of the Municipality of Malisheva.
Meanwhile, the problem of drinking water is also evident in many villages and neighbourhoods of the Municipality of Malisheva. Villages and neighbourhoods that have problems with the quantity or quality of drinking water, or do not have drinking water, are: Bellanica, Llapqeva, Panorc, Turijaka, Burim, Astrazub, Dragobil, Caralluka, Guncat, Lladroc, while in the village of Terpeza there is a connection but the village has had a problem with the water company since it has started being managed by the latter.

Moreover, the catalogue of issues was prepared during the period April-June 2019. A total of 275 settlements (villages/neighbourhoods) have been visited during this period of time. The purpose of this catalogue is to raise civic and institutional awareness of the importance of citizen participation in public consultations with municipal officials.
