Informative meetings are continuing with the aim of initiating cooperation with local authorities in public procurement field on behalf of Transparent Procurement project.

Today #KDI together with nongovernmental partner organisation #SyriiVizionit supported by USAID/TEAM, held a meeting with deputy mayor of #Istog municipality z. Lulëzim Blakaj and representatives officials of budget, finances, procurement and internal audit Directorate.

Municipal representatives were informed with details of the project for transparent procurement, on account of which we are commencing observation of the public procurement processes starting from local budget preparation, procurement planning, bid evaluation to contract implementation and analysis of the general auditor findings for the respective municipality.

All this is done with the purpose of increasing transparency and a better management of public money for which we were promised by Istogu municipality.
