Lack of public investments in infrastructure, lack of water, public security, waste management, issues of property legalization, lack of public lighting, damage of utility poles are some of the main concerns of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Community in the Municipality of Prizren revealed today during a meeting organized by #KDI with members of these communities.

These communities are not represented in local institutions in the Municipality of Prizren. Another concern is the fact that they are not included in the statute of the municipality, and thus they asked for conducting activities to include them in this statute.

This activity has been supported within the Project “Together we can” supported by Embassy of Czech Republic, whose main objective is the protection and respect for communities rights to be informed and involved in the decision-making process at the municipal level.
