Women deputy and activists who could potentially become candidates for the upcoming municipal elections in Viti, Kamenica, Kacanik, Hani i Elezit and Shtime are attending practical training on governmental systems, political platforms, leadership and communication with the public.

These trainings aimed at preparing them to be competitive in assuming responsibilities in the local policy-making processes.

Activities like these are supported by Helvetas and implemented by the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), while experts of representative fields Mr. Bekim Baliqi and Mrs. Jehona Lushtaku are sharing knowledge and experiences with these women. Training will continue with other women groups from all regions of Kosovo.
