The participation of women in local government, was discussed in Dragash / Dragaš today. KDI organized a roundtable discussion on this topic, part of which was also the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Shaban Shabani, institutional representatives, civil society and citizens.

At this roundtable, many issues were raised which concern women and mainly relate to their low participation at public meetings and the lack of specialist health services such as gynecology.

This activity was arranged within the project “Increasing Accountability of Local Government Institutions”, supported by the British Embassy in Pristina.
