Kosovo continues to be the country with the highest unemployment in the region, while women and young people are mostly affected by harsh labor market situation. In addition, the violation of workers’ rights, gender-based discrimination in the workplace negatively affects the improvement of the current labor market situation.

Therefore, in order to eliminate any gender-based discrimination and to create a free and equal work environment for all genders, Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) has drafted a regulation against sexual harassment, by enabling the creation of a mechanism that will help prevent sexual harassment at the workplace.

KDI called on and invites all government and non-governmental institutions to draft the internal policies that guarantee an equal and free work environment regardless of gender differences
